Back by popular demand, the Executive Coaches Roundtable is again offering you the opportunity for stimulating conversation, meaningful engagement, resource sharing and networking with other coaches interested in topics related to leadership and executive coaching.
Our first virtual meet-up of the 2022-23 season will take place on Friday, May 20th from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. as part of International Coaching Week.
For our first session, participants will be invited to share thoughts and perspectives on what executive coaching means for us as coaches and for our prospective clients. Questions to be considered include:
What’s the level of awareness or understanding “out there” about executive coaching? What’s your sense for how it is perceived? Do those perceptions create more opportunities or barriers for us as coaches?
How do you describe executive or leadership coaching to prospective clients?
When you describe the potential benefits of a coaching program, what seems to resonate the most for prospective clients?
Participants will also be invited to suggest topics for future Roundtable discussions.
Registrations will be handled on a first come, first served basis. The first 12 registrants will be confirmed for the session, with others added to a waiting list in case of cancellations. An agenda and the Zoom link will be provided to participants in advance of the session. Participants will also be required to complete a declaration confirming they are at the Executive coaching level.
Building on the skillful stewardship of our previous convenor, Caroline Thibaudeau, this season’s sessions will be facilitated by Derek Johnston, an Integral Professional Coach with more than 30 years of coaching experience in a variety of forms — working with senior leaders in the private, public and not-for-profit sector, as well as high-performance athletes and sport coaches at all levels.
The Roundtable will meet virtually in May and then take a break for the summer, returning on Friday, September 16th. Depending on the comfort levels of Roundtable participants, we can explore the possibility of meeting face-to-face later in the season.
