Newsletter

The ICF Ottawa Chapter Newsletter will come to you quarterly in November, February, May and August.  Important announcements will be posted on the website and emailed as required.

Submissions to the newsletter should be sent to newsletter@ottawacoaches.ca

Submissions must be received no later than the 10th of the previous month in Microsoft WORD format.

Articles for the Website

ICF Ottawa welcomes submissions for the website: https://ottawacoaches.ca. These will be posted in a new section entitled Links to Learning.

The following guidelines apply:

  • There is no charge to publish an article
  • Submissions must be accurately sourced
  • Articles can be submitted at any time
  • Articles should be no longer than 1000 words (500 on average), and may be accompanied by photos (articles may need to be edited by the author if space is limited)
  • Submit articles in Microsoft WORD format

Please note that the ICF Ottawa Chapter board reserves the right to publish or not.

Advertising Submission Guidelines

Are you leading an event of interest to our subscribers? Why not advertise it in our Newsletter that goes out to all ICF Ottawa Chapter members, as well as all those who have signed up to be on our distribution list.

  • Our e-Newsletter is published quarterly.
  • Maximum submission is 250 words.
  • Send submissions to Newsletter Director in Microsoft WORD format.
  • Events can be listed on the website at any time
  • Stand-alone email communiqués (not part of the newsletter; items that may be time sensitive) are available
  • Content approval is required in all instances

ICF Ottawa Chapter members are ICF members in good standing who have chosen our chapter as their local chapter. Submissions by ICF Ottawa Chapter Members will only be accepted for events they themselves are presenting.

$50 per insertion up to 250 words

ICF Ottawa Chapter Guest
$100 per insertion; up to 100 words with link to your site

ICF Ottawa Chapter Guest
$125 per insertion; up to 250 words with link to your site

Please note: individual events count as separate insertions

Stand-alone Communiqués – Member or Guest
$300 per communiqué; Information of interest to our membership can be scheduled as a special communication.

Website

$125 per listing; Information of interest to our membership can be posted on the website. The listing remains until the event is over or for 3 months.

Please note: Payment must be received and processed in order for the submission to be distributed.
