I completed professional coach training in 2005 through the Adler School of Professional Coaching (Toronto). I completed my BSc Occupational Therapy and Master of Education at Queen’s University and PhD in Rehabilitation Science at Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia. My coaching approach is to assist you to design and integrate your personal and professional lives to optimize your fulfillment, joy and success in both areas. This approach is grounded in the belief that people are motivated primarily by two desires; to fulfill their own potential and to make a meaningful contribution. We frequently have difficulty fulfilling these desires because we govern ourselves with beliefs and fictions that hold us back and blind us to what may be greater possibilities.
As a coach, I will help you recognize your limiting beliefs, identify your strengths and determine what is important to you. In our coaching work together, you will learn to choose and make lasting changes that will lead to improved well-being, effectiveness and success. Combining knowledge and experience from both coaching and occupational therapy enables me to take a unique and powerful approach that will assist you to create what you want and get where you want to go.
I have coached clients across Canada and the United States from a wide variety of professions including executives, managing partners, administrators, managers and private business owners, lawyers, physicians, therapists, nurses, allied health professionals, dentists, artists, writers, teachers, financial planners, academics, coaches and architects. I provide coaching services to the Ontario Medical Association and have been an executive coach with the Queen’s MBA and Executive Development Programs since coaching was added to their services.
I invite you to call me to answer any questions you may have about coaching.
